Part time dog walker/pet sitter
WE LOVE PETS
What you can expect:
To be covered in the contents of a muddy puddle, stream or bog
Various hair styles courtesy of the elements of our seasons
Cuddles with a whole host of beautiful, loved, pets
Wonderful customers who love you too, for the updates you give and the photos you take
You may be walking 1-4 dogs at a time (we don’t pack walk)
You can meet and look after a variety of different pets while their owners are on holiday or away
Ongoing training and support
Uniform and essential equipment provided
Police and reference checks (for our customer’s peace of mind)
Access to online training courses
Support from your Branch Manager and other members of the team
Potential to progress to supervisor role and support branch manager as business continues to grow
All we need from you:
Own car (fully insured, MOT and tax)
Live locally to the vacancy in Solihull
Be willing to work in all weathers!
Be flexible and happy to take on new customers when required
Really love animals (experience of being a pet owner)
Strong enough to safely control strong dogs.
Exceptional time keeping
Confident communication skills (with humans and animals)
Commitment (our pets build relationships with you, so consistency is very important)
Access to a reliable mobile phone
Good local relationships
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 0-15 per week
Salary: From £10.50 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
We Love Pets have a pet care policy for COVID-19. All walkers must use hand gel/handwashing when collecting or dropping off dogs and equipment regularly wiped down and disinfected
