Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

Duties Include:
- Walk dogs of various, size, breeds and temperaments.
- Build positive relationships with clients and their dogs.
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks.
- Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding the care and handling of their dogs.
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the pet owner.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour when interacting with clients and their pets.
- Schedule meet and greets with prospective clients.
- Keep up to date with scheduling and paperwork.
Qualifications Essential:
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to handle long walks and heavy lifting if necessary.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
Qualifications Desirable:
- Animal care related qualification.
- Canine First Aid & CPR.
- Up to date DBS.
Note: This position will also involve additional duties such as pet sitting in clients homes. You must be flexible and willing to work on weekends and bank holidays if required.

Driving is essential to the role as the successful candidate will have to drive to clients homes for dog walks and pet sits.
This is a solitary working position, you may not take your own pets or partners/family members into clients homes due to insurance only covering our dog walkers and sitters.
