As a Specialist Pet Care provider we pride ourselves on our internal training programs allowing our walkers and store colleagues to explore and learn all aspects of the industry and feel confident to help all of our clients. As the company grows additional training may be made available in Pet Nutrition, Training, Physiotherapy, Grooming, etc.
All colleagues are encouraged to explore various aspects of the industry and further training potentially with the company fully or partially funding any training relevant to new or increasingly requested services.
The recent opening of our Heaton Pet Shop may allow for additional hours or a split contract in a customer facing retail position along side a Dog Walking contract.
The position available is for a ‘Dog Walker / Pet Sitter’, any candidates must live within a 10 mile radius of 16 Benton Road NE7 7DR.

This is a part time / full time position, between 8 – 32 hours per week spread over 2 - 5 days per week. This may increase at certain times as workloads increase. Typically for the 8 - 32 hours we will utilise you on 3 – 5 group & single dog walks as well as pet sitting services. Dog walks will typically take place between 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday with occasional hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
All incoming colleges start on a 0 hour contract for the duration of their 6 month probation period. Salary will start at NMW which will increase after any additional training undertaken will increase hourly rate or starting rate may increase depending on colleagues incoming skills and relevent qualifications.
Applicants must be available between 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday on an average week, although hours can be flexible.
Applicants must have experience either professionally walking groups of dogs. Group limits are breed dependent with smaller breeds being walked in groups of 3 and larger breeds in groups of 2. Walks will take place in and around; Heaton, Jesmond and Town Moors. Our base of operations is located at 16 Benton Road NE7 7DR.
Applicants must have their own vehicle and a full clean UK driving licence, all colleagues are provided with a full car kit to meet the needs of any issues which may arise. Vehicles must be large enough to transport a minimum of 3 dogs safely.

We are out in all weathers so please think about that if you are interested.
Pay is weekly on a Friday, you will be responsible for submitting your own Schedules/ Miles.
