Job description
Due to increased demand K9 Woof Pack are looking for part time, freelance workers to support the company growth, K9 Woof pack providers dog walking and pet sitting services within the Swindon area. We pride ourselves on the care and attention given to the animals within our care and the relationships built with both animals and owners alike. We’re there for our clients, wind, rain, snow or shine.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Loves animals, but especially dogs.
- Who is has or is willing to undergo training on pet behaviour and pet first aid.
- Is trustworthy and reliable
- Has excellent time keeping
- Has a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Will work in all weathers! (This is a must)
- Current DBS check
VARIED WEEKLY HOURS AVAILABLE
Main responsibilities:
- Walk dogs in all weather conditions at the times agreed with our customers
- Ensure the safety of our animals while in your care
- Ensure the safety of our customers homes, ensure house and animals are secure before leaving.
- Familiarise yourself with the specific requirements for each animal
- Responsible for the brand reputation whilst providing care, and show due care and consideration to others when using outside places such as public parks and footpaths
- Dogs must be walked for the agreed time and they must be properly exercised
- Properly dispose of any pet waste
- Ensure dogs have access to fresh water
- Any wet animal should be towel dried before being returned to customer home
- Document walks with pictures/videos and provide updates to customers
