The roles:

Dog Groomer: Reporting to the Salon Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of pet grooming, and you'll deliver the very highest standard of pet grooming. You will exceed our customers' expectations by providing Pawsitively Outrageous Service within the salon. Your excellent communication skills will be fully utilised as you deal with customers and their pets daily. You will ensure excellent salon presentation is maintained, and high standards are kept through cleanliness, safety, and good housekeeping standards. As Dog Groomer, you will assist with the training and development of other salon colleagues.

We will give you the training, skills, and knowledge to enable you to provide our customers with service that reflects our goals of being the ‘Best Pet Care Business in the World’.

The candidate we are looking for is:


  • Experienced in working within a grooming environment, and ideally, you'll have experience in a similar, fast-paced environment where you've taken a hands-on approach.
  • Competent in completing a groom from start to finish on most breeds to a high standard (please note that grooming your own pet does not qualify as a professional experience).
  • Qualified - a grooming related qualification would also be beneficial.
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of delivering high standards!
  • A great team player who has a real passion for pets.
  • Hungry to be part of a successful salon, and you'll be proactive in your approach.
  • Flexible. Due to the nature of working within a busy retail environment, we need you to have the ability to work a flexible shift pattern, across 7 days a week. You’ll be offered a minimum contract of 39 hours, but often required to work more hours to cover busy periods, absence and holidays.
  • Experienced in a customer-facing environment

Trainee Dog Groomer:


You'll deliver the very highest standard of pet care. Your primary responsibility will be the prepping and bathing of pets, as well as clipping their nails in preparation for the Dog Groomer/Salon Manager to carry out the required groom.

We will give you the training, skills, and knowledge to enable you to provide our customers with service that reflects our goals of being the ‘Best Pet Care Business in the World’.

The candidate we are looking for is;


  • Experienced ideally in working with or handling pets in a professional grooming or pet care environment (please note that bathing and prepping your own pet does not qualify as professional experience)
  • Qualified - having either grooming or pet -related qualification would also be beneficial.
  • A great team player who has a real passion for pets.
  • Hungry to be part of a successful salon, you'll be proactive in your approach.
  • Flexible. Due to the nature of working within a busy retail environment, we need you to have the ability to work a flexible shift pattern, across 7 days a week. You’ll be offered a minimum contract of 39 hours, but often required to work more hours to cover busy periods, absence, and holidays.
