Job description
We are looking for dependable, positive, calm but social individuals interested in long-term employment to fill a part-time position (20-25 hours weekly)
Experience working with groups of 10+ dogs is preferred and recommended.
Be aware - this is not a "play with puppies all day" kind of job - though that is a perk! There is a lot of hard work, cleaning, learning and patience that goes into working with dogs professionally, but if you are ready to join a team, learn the language of dogs, get your hands a bit dirty and your clothes a bit furry (and drooly, and smelly), well, we might be the place for you!
Positive, enthusiastic attitude.
A passion for dogs and providing excellent client experiences.
Must have own mode of transportation.
Must be organised, able to prioritise and be reliable/punctual as we deal with a live product.
Understands dog behaviour and positive reinforcement techniques.
Problem solving and conflict management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, and practice management software knowledge preferred).
