Dog Day Care Assistant / Dog Walker Kirknewton, Scotland

We’re recruiting!
We are looking for a passionate dog lover to join our expanding premium dog care business. The position is for a day care assistant/dog walker for Wednesday, Thursday & Friday each week. The position will be a maximum of 30hrs between the hours of 7am & 6pm. Based in Kirknewton. We also have other various hours available across the week.
All candidates must have a clean UK driving license and will be required to drive one of our dog vans. Full training will be given.
Ideal candidates must have a love of dogs, be proactive in their work and be able to use their own initiative when required. Previous experience with dogs is essential.
The role will involve working with small groups of dogs of varying sizes & breeds. We do have a lot of young energetic dogs so the potential candidate must be comfortable handling enthusiastic pups. Although we have our heated indoor space, a big part of the job is working outdoors while the dogs have an adventure, so candidates must be happy to work in all weathers.

There’s the possibility of bringing your own dog with you each day, if they are well behaved & sociable.
