RBC Petcare (RBC Ltd) is a small business in and around Banbury, Oxfordshire. We are professional, fun, supportive and our goal is to love and care for our customers dogs like our own. Currently with three employees we are looking to expand and develop our services because of local demand. We have new premises being developed within 4 miles of Banbury to enable us to accommodate more dogs.
Established in 2005, RBC Petcare is a highly reputable, long-standing business offering doggy day care, dog walking, dog training, home visits and other pet services to pet owners in and around Banbury.
Company director Karen Kendall is well respected within the Petcare industry. Karen is a Kennel Club Rally Obedience and Scent- work as well as this Karen is a UK qualified Judge and has been involved in training dogs professionally for many years! RBC Petcare is fully licensed and insured under Cherwell District Council and has a 5-star rating.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and confident dog lover who enjoys long field walks and messy play to join our small but mighty RBC Petcare team!
With our ever-growing family of dogs, we are looking for someone who will care as much as we do, because at RBC Petcare, the welfare of our clients’ pets is our top priority. We make sure there’s always plenty of time for a cuddle or two.
With support from the day care manager, you will be able to help plan activities with the ability to work independently alone as well as part of a team.

In this role:
Once you are trained and at a point of being confident with the needs of the dogs, you will be responsible for the dogs in your care and will be able to carry out activities such as:
- Group Walks
- Play Sessions
- Structured Enrichment Activities (eg fun agility, scentwork, parkour, trick training etc)
- Health Checks on the Dogs
- Wash and Groom Dogs (as required)
- Train the Dogs (recall, wait, emergency stop etc)
- Assist the day-care manager with filming and producing the social media updates for customers (please check out our Facebook and Instagram pages!)
- Transport clients’ dogs to and from their home (vehicle provided).
- Demonstrate a high level of Health and Safety standards within the role, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and dogs and in accordance with the company's Health and Safety Policy.
The role requires a level of flexibility during working hours; therefore, the successful candidate must be willing to be flexible with their hours. Additional hours will be available especially during busy periods such as covering leave and as dog numbers grow.
Please be advised that these main duties and responsibilities do not solely define your main day to day activities, as you may be asked to carryout tasks which sit outside of your usual main duties and responsibilities.
Role Requirements
- Some basic knowledge of dog behaviour and practical experience with dogs
- Willingness to work outdoor in all weathers.
- Social Media and IT skills are required
- Full, Clean UK Driving Licence
- For insurance purposes at least 5 years driving experience would be beneficial, however this is not a deal breaker.
- A Level 3 qualification within the animal sector (e.g. animal care / welfare / management / training) is desirable but not essential.We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Pet Sitter to join our team. The right candidate will have a genuine love of animals and a dedication to keeping them healthy, happy and safe. To be successful in this role, the candidate should have an outgoing personality, an active lifestyle and a genuine concern for the well-being of animals.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £9.50-£11.00 per hour
