Dog Day Care Assistant Hebburn, England

K9 Room
Full Time Hebburn, England 10.5 - 12 GBP HOURLY Today
Job description

Due to our expanding business we are looking for a new addition to our established doggy daycare based in Hebburn. We are offering a 31 hour per week contract to the right candidate.

You’ll be required to work with our team, caring for our dogs as well as monitoring dog behaviour and language in order to allow our dogs to socialise correctly in a controlled environment. You’ll be asked to trial new dogs entering the daycare to ensure K9 Room is the correct fit for them and meets their needs. In addition, we ask that you help ensure our daycare is maintained to our exceptionally high cleaning standards.

We’ll also ask that you help to create and carry out engaging enrichment activities for our dogs to get involved in, as well as contributing to our photo gallery so our clients can see the fun their dogs are having on a daily basis.

Holding a UK drivers license is essential as well as the confidence to drive our ‘dog taxi’, ensuring our dogs are transported safely to and from the daycare should our clients require this.

The right candidate will be able to liaise professionally with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the correct information regarding their dog is always provided to them.

K9 Room is a small company and therefore we’re looking for someone to fully get involved and work professionally within our tight-knit team.
