Job Role: Document Management Project Manager

Location: Remote

Sector: IT

Hours: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week

Contract: 12 months FTC

This role will be a key player in Emeria UK’s I.T team, specifically working within the I.T delivery team, leading a business critical project to transform how documents are managed across the group.

The purpose of this role is to lead a project to implement a document management solution (DMS) for the group. The individual will be required to work with key business stakeholders to capture document management requirements, identify key documents and design an approach to implementing a solution.

We require an excellent communicator who can work with and gain support from key stakeholders. We also require someone who is enthusiastic in their work and able to motivate colleagues and stakeholders to work quickly but with care. They will be able to work off their own initiative but understand when issues need to be escalated.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Executive Sponsors and key business stakeholders to drive successful project implementation to achieve project objectives.
  • Establish priorities, build buy-in to a sense of urgency and importance while following a best practice Project Management framework in project execution.
  • Provide high quality leadership of the project team. Encourage people to work collaboratively to reach decisions, while establishing an escalation process for disagreement as appropriate.
  • Assume responsibility for multiple workstreams within the project (as required)
  • Proactively manage risks as they relate to project delivery.
  • Monitor progress and deliver regular reports to the Senior Integration Project Manager.
  • Project budget management and tracking.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Project Management.
  • Experience in managing broad scale projects across various disciplines.
  • Manage stakeholders, up to and including Senior Management level (not Exec).
  • Experience managing projects and clients on complex multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • High standards and keen attention to detail.
  • Apply data and insight to inform decision-making.
  • Work under pressure and make pragmatic decisions.
  • Manage relationships with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of driving organisational and cross-functional alignment to produce positive outcomes.
  • Successful track record within a fast paced, engaging environment.
  • Experience working flexibly across a range of responsibilities, projects and programmes.
  • Experience in agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience in leading and managing project teams.
  • Ability to understand complex inputs and to distil critical information.
  • Extensive experience defining and managing project risks, knowing when to escalate.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Certification / Professional qualification.
  • Experience of the Property Management (or related) industry preferred but not essential.
