This role is a Hybrid Role with the necessity to attend offices in Central London on a negotiated basis.
This role is Inside IR35 and Currently Contract but may be Temp to Perm for the right candidate.

They seek a Document Controller to join the team and help develop processes and protocols as well as reinforcing them within the team. The successful candidate will assist in all document control tasks as well as administrative. You will provide key support to the project team and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain professional relationships as well as work with external contacts. This role plays an integral part in the project’s success and as such the incumbent must be flexible, work unsupervised, have excellent communication skills and have a customer focused attitude. You will have previous experience as a Document Controller.
The successful applicant is comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating the following skills and experience at a Senior Level.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- To understand and work within the document control system; to uphold the processes and protocols.
- Responsibility and interface for the initial project set-up (in conjunction with other company and support departments) from inception if required.
- Ensure that an effective internal review loop is maintained so that all documents are properly reviewed by the Project Team.
- Establish from outset a close relationship with the existing document control team and the wider team to ensure that the proper procedures are put in place to maintain cost control and contractual integrity of the Project.
- Establish, populate and maintain the master document register.
- Communicate to the Project Team the abilities of the document control system and provide training, technical and procedural support for all users.
- Liaise with consultants/contractors to ensure that all parties are working to the correct drawings and other design documents, and to ensure that all parties are issuing documents correctly.
- Liaise directly with the client team and attend weekly closeout meetings.
- Provide the team with timely and accurate answers to all document control related queries.
- Undertake regular reviews of the system to ensure effective use across the project.
Experience
- Proven planning and process management skills
- EDMS Knowledge, preferable in Aconex, Procore or similar
- Attention to detail and accuracy and a methodical approach to duties.
- Experience using an electronic document control system.
- Microsoft Office minimum and an advanced knowledge of G-Suite Apps preferred.
- Experience in Document Control
- Any Exposure of ISO 9001 and ISO 19650 would be a bonus.
You will be confident talking with internal stakeholders, internal customers and other staff in both a technical and non-technical.
You will have excellent communication skills and excellent attention to detail is a must.

Salary: £200.00-£400.00 per day
