Salary: £32,000 - £40,000

Our ambitious plans include offshore windfarms in East Anglia with our team leading the Group’s international offshore development. With over 40 operational windfarms we manage all of our sites through our world leading Control Centre at Whitelee Windfarm, near Glasgow.
Within our Renewables business, Offshore O&M is focused on the operation of our offshore windfarms in the UK, Germany and France. The Document Controller supports our teams, contractors and suppliers with all document related requirements.
What you’ll be doing
- Ensuring effective and efficient management of documentation relating to operational windfarms and O&M departments
- Create, maintain, and update document control procedures, standards, and policies to ensure efficient document handling and record keeping. Implement and manage document processes to organize and track documents
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external requirements. Coordinate the approval process, ensuring documents are properly reviewed, approved and distributed to relevant stakeholders ensuring they meet both the project and business quality requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Offshore O&M electronic document control systems
- Coordinate with all relevant departments and third parties to ensure that documentation is processed efficiently with clear ownership, accountability, and visibility
- Provide training and support to EDMS users on document control processes, systems, and standards. Assist users in locating and retrieving documents as needed. Promote awareness and compliance with document control policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with document control procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance document management processes
- Focus on continual improvement by staying up to date with industry trends and advancements in document management systems and technologies, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, automate tasks, and enhance efficiency in document control operations.
What you’ll bring
- Document Controller Experience
- IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management software.
- Eligibility to work in UK
- Fluent in English
- Positive attitude: proactive, team player, high integrity
- Sound knowledge and/or experience of offshore and / or Renewables sector
- Flexible approach to working hours to ensure the delivery of planned and unplanned activities
- Cultural awareness
