Job description
The main responsibilities include:
Oversee the production and distillation process and its key elements in:
- Grain transfer, Milling, Mashing, Fermentation, Wash and Spirit Still distillation, Multiple Effect Evaporator systems
- Operate a computer based process system (SCADA) in order to produce quality distillate from raw materials
- Complete work in Windows based and other operating software packages (computer training will be required)
- Take Quality Control samples and perform Quality Control tests throughout the distillation process
- Perform fault finding analysis to optimise plant performance
- Candidates must be aware that the distilleries operate a rotating shift pattern up to 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and must have a valid UK driving licence.
