We are looking for a dynamic and flexible team member who can both act as a delivery driver as well as dispatch fellow drivers when needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for positive customer interactions, delivering parts in a timely, efficient and professional manner as well as monitoring and managing the daily operations of fellow drivers which includes ensuring that all orders are dispatched and delivered on time and with accuracy. The Dispatcher will also be responsible for communicating with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all orders are delivered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver auto parts in and around Edmonton.
- Receive and record customer returns.
- Monitor and direct the activities of drivers.
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver goods.
- Communicate with customers to ensure that their needs are met.
- Keep records of driver's hours, mileage, and cargo.
- Maintain communication with drivers throughout their routes.
- Provide customer service support.
