Huntington County Public Safety Dispatch has several openings for Full Time and Part Time Dispatchers
This position is responsible for answering 9-1-1, administrative phone calls and dispatching appropriate emergency personnel. In addition, it is also responsible for maintaining warrant files, protection orders and other paperwork. Candidates must be willing to attend mandatory training courses.
A successful candidate must also possess excellent communication and computer skills, along with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high stress environment. Candidate must be open to work hours and days of the week, and will be scheduled only as needed, no minimum hours guaranteed. Must be 21 years old, and have a HS Diploma/GED. Hourly starting rate is $17.00.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.55 per hour
