Position Summary
The Telecommunications Director is responsible for directing the Livingstone College Telecommunications Program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Organizes and oversees all operations of the Livingstone College Telecommunications Programs.- Formulates current and long range plans and establishes policies concerning Livingstone College Telecommunications equipment, systems and services.
- Conducts meetings with executives and administrators of Livingstone College to discuss telecommunications needs, projects and programs.
- Administers telecommunication maintenance and repair activities and the implementation of station change orders.
- Directs the technical and financial analysis of Livingstone College
- Oversees the proposals, installation and training procedures for new system installations.
- Develops and monitors budget recommendations for the Livingstone College telecommunications program.
- Coordinates work by scheduling project assignments of subordinate telecommunication personnel.
- Serve on College Committee as assigned
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/ Experience
What you will need to be successful!
Bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in engineering or telecommunications, two years with which must have been in the analysis, design, management or operation of telecommunication systems.- Eight years of experience as telecommunications management may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. Full-time training in a vocational-technical or military school may be substituted for the engineering, analysis, design and operation of telecommunication systems on the basis of one year of training, for one year experience.
- Microsoft Office experience/knowledge
