Organization: Mental Health Without Borders
Position: Board of Directors
Summary: Mental Health Without Borders (MHWB) is a volunteer-led non-profit organization. MHWB works to provide accessible & sustainable mental health education for all. MHWB is looking for volunteers to join their Board of Directors commencing in 2023. The organization is looking for 5 individuals to assume Board of Directors positions.
Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly meetings (virtual).
- Contribute to ongoing committee work as we are a volunteer-driven organization.
- Promote the vision and mission of Mental Health Without Borders.
Compensation:
- This is a volunteer position and as such there is no pro-rata compensation schedule.
- Expenses will be reimbursed in line with the organizational by-laws.
Seeking Board Members with Expertise in one (or more) of the following areas:
- Fundraising Experience and/or CFRE Designation
- Finance, Legal or Regulatory background
- Mental Health (psychiatrist, psychologist, or clinical social work background)
- Marketing/Communications
- People and Culture
- Experience leading and growing non-profit organizations as either an Executive Director or a Board of Directors member
- Strong administrative & organizational skills
*MHWB is also looking for individuals who are interested in growing their role as a board member in an executive capacity.
Commitment: 3-6 hours per week on average (varies).
