This role is considered remote, which means the employee will work remotely on an ongoing basis and will not have an assigned workspace at a Company designated location.
Job Summary:
Overall Purpose of the Role:
- Lead the Trade strategy, planning and execution for both Disneyland Paris in the UK and Irish markets, Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise line across EMEA to ensure revenue and volume targets are delivered in line with Annual Operating Plans
- Represent the company at external Trade events and be the voice and face of Disney Destinations International for the Trade in the UK
Areas of Responsibility:
Key elements and required results of the role
- Define mid-long term Sales strategy across UK and EMEA for all destinations
- Lead the implementation of the Sales strategy, Trade Marketing and Sales plans across UK and EMEA
- Oversee the strategic management of partners both internally and externally and build strong personal and commercial relationships with trade partners’ leaders
- Lead implementation and roll out of distribution/connectivity systems and processes to ensure continued commercial success
- Liaise closely with Paris and Orlando to ensure visibility, alignment and success
- Lead and manage the Sales team to ensure motivated and successful
- Create and ensure the culture of teamwork, achievement, accountability and managed risk taking
- Provide innovative solutions to distribution needs (present and future)
- Manage Sales & Trade Marketing budget
- Travel extensively in the UK, in the markets and to Paris and Orlando
Areas of Accountability
Who accountable to, what and who accountable for and any budget responsibility
- The delivery of volume and revenue targets as defined in Annual Operating Plans
- The personal development of the 4 teams and with the VP, the team development of all cast members
Level of experience, Qualifications and People Management experience
- Significant leadership and management experience, preferably in tourism or a related industry, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams to achieve targets and objectives
- Excellent knowledge of the travel distribution landscape
- Proven experience in a high profile leadership role
- Ability to successfully navigate across a large matrix organisation
- Practical understanding of Ecommerce, digital and channel management
- Knowledge of or experience with the Disney organisation preferred
Skills Required:
Highlighting the key technical, language and job related skills required
- Seasoned Travel/Tourism executive with extensive experience in the Travel trade/Tourism industry (either destination or Trade) in the UK and/or European markets
- Strong knowledge in Digital environment and Technology systems
- Strong leader with highly motivated and ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong business/commercial acumen with analytical and financial aptitude
- Strategic and creative thinker with ability to identify key issues and opportunities

Location & Travel:
Role is based in the UK in our London Hammersmith offices.
Remote working contract with no set days in the office but obligation to be in the office on a regular basis and when business requires it.
Frequent travel to both Paris and Orlando.
