Position Overview:
JUICE is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Director of Sales (DOS) to join our growing team. The DOS is responsible for actual revenue production as well as for managing the sales team that develops and nurtures Ideal Client Leads (ICL’s) into signed clients. Top of the funnel ICLs are generated and qualified through a blend of outbound (50%) and inbound (50%) efforts. Outbound consists of cold outreach, email campaigns, and more. Inbound consists of paid advertising, content marketing, organic search, referrals, and a vast business network.
As our DOS, you are an avid believer in the critical role advanced digital marketing solutions play in the growth, market penetration, and wallet share of our clients and their customers. You own deep intelligence and understanding of those industries, local, regional and national competitive landscape, and best practices for strategic planning and tactical execution specific to the decision-makers. The DOS maintains a coaching-first mentality as a leader and has practical experience managing challenging employee and client situations to positive outcomes. You report directly to the founders and collaborate with marketing & account management team leaders.

What you’ll do:
In collaboration with the marketing team, develop, launch, and manage new & existing strategies, tactics, and programs to increase sales.
Lead the sales team to ensure it meets its sales goals with clearly defined and trackable metrics/KPIs.
Assist in and/or lead the collaborative preparation and actual presentation of sales pitches to potential clients.
Oversee the execution, management, and ongoing development of the JUICE Strategic Sales Playbook as well as set and manage annual sales plans & budgets.
Monitor, evaluate, and adopt innovative sales best practices and continually analyze & adjust tactics to improve performance.
Leverage CRM, marketing, and analytic systems to provide feedback and adjustments to the overall strategy.
Present progress reports to company executives as deemed necessary in formal as well as informal or ad hoc settings.
Promote company culture across the company and be responsible for sales hiring, firing, training, and coaching/professional development.
Proactively initiate new client relationships and develop strategic partnerships that refer ICLs to us.
Be responsible for sales qualifying, educating, and converting prospects.
Articulate our unique value propositions and the benefits of working with us.
Maintain key performance metrics with a strong emphasis on qualified lead generation, closed/won new accounts, and new revenue acquired.
Build and develop the sales pipeline to ensure continuous over-achievement, through a combination of cold outreach, inbound leads, email campaigns, and more.
Position our services through strategic, value-based selling, business case definition, etc.
Manage concurrent discussions with various stakeholders within target client organizations, navigating parallel processes with different personas and departments.
Update our CRM with an accurate sales pipeline and prospective client data daily, with a goal of forecasting deals on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
What you’d need to succeed:
Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, verbal/written communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and time-management skills.
Proven ability to meet deadlines, adapt quickly & easily to last-minute changes, and manage high visibility projects.
Proficient in data analysis, interpretations, and forecasting with an advanced understanding of sales process, buyer behavior, consultative selling.
Deep understanding and curiosity of online/digital marketing.
An inherent thirst to become a sales expert and leader.
Passion for closing deals.
Ability to listen and take detailed notes.
Preferred skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing with a minimum of eight years of B2B digital marketing sales & management experience
Proven ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with other teams.
Proven ability to be proactive and solve problems.
Ability to quickly build rapport with contacts at all levels in an organization.
