Position Summary:
The Director of Product Marketing defines and implements product positioning and messaging that effectively links our corporate narrative with our platform story. They highlight both the business and technical benefits of our offerings. The Director possesses exceptional leadership skills, experience in business-to-business (B2B) product marketing, and a strong track record in execution and program management. They thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth culture and possess the versatility to collaborate effectively with product management, design, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Drives go-to-market (GTM) strategy and leads launches for infrastructure monitoring
- Develops differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with our core audiences
- Articulates the benefits of our Marketplace products and features to our customers, field teams, partners, and prospects
- Develops collateral and training materials for sales teams that bring the product positioning to life with compelling narratives that are grounded in customer stories
- Plays a key role in defining the Marketplace narrative, and promoting it across various channels (web, industry events, exec presentations, field teams)
- Collaborates with product management, engineering, and design to harness customer insights and defines the product roadmap
- Performs market research and analysis and develops strategies that bolster Pax8's market position
- Communicates a compelling vision for the Pax8 Marketplace through internal and external events
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in marketing, preferably in program marketing or a related role, with a proven track record of success.
- Deep understanding of program marketing concepts, methodologies, and best practices. This includes experience in developing marketing campaigns, messaging, and value propositions tailored to specific programs or services. Knowledge of marketing automation, customer journey mapping, and lead generation strategies a plus
- Strong leadership skills for guiding and inspiring your team to achieve marketing objectives. This includes setting clear expectations, providing feedback and coaching, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Best-in-class collaboration skills and the ability to manage relationships with internal stakeholders are important to align marketing strategies with business objectives and to ensure successful program launches and ongoing support.
- Experience with agile workflows and optimizing existing processes to keep pace with business

Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $150,000 or more depending on experience

- Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
