Your Contribution to the Organization

We are looking for Director Product & Portfolio Management for HPE Aruba Networking- Telco Solutions. In this role the leader is expected to define, develop, and manage a portfolio of standard value-added services (“Service as a Product”) that enables standardization and cross portfolio solutions of the individual Telco Solutions products to be sold on a repeatable and consistent basis.

How You’ll Make Your Mark:

Director Product & Portfolio Management will establish and manage a pricing strategy and framework for “Service as a Product”, based on market pricing that enables HPE Aruba Telco Solutions to maximize margin contribution, working in conjunction with the other portfolio leads.

To manage a team including matrixed resource including product managers, delivery architects, support managers etc who are responsible for the development and launch/delivery of new products, and/or in-life management of service products and/or the overall commercial and/or technical management of the services portfolio.

To lead on strategic alignment of the “Service as a Product” portfolio, prioritizing, planning, forecasting, target setting, budgeting and investment, supplier relationships and cost control, quality of service, development of SoRs, the management of development and launch plans, customer satisfaction, supporting and driving the sales channels and marketing, product information, working with operations and service delivery on feature enhancement and cost reduction, working with sales on specials/bids, legal and regulatory obligations, supporting and influencing Industry Forums and User Groups, interaction with customers, complaints handling and the management of relevant complex projects.

What You’ll Need:

First level university degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced university degree preferred.

Typically, 15 or more years of related work experience, including 10 years of experience managing global or multi-regional workforce.

Impact/Scope:

Collaborate across functions to deliver multidisciplinary engineering solutions.

Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, and VPs and SVPs for internal and external suppliers, partners, and customers.

Drives large and complex cross-organizational business initiatives.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $145,500.00 - $352,300.00
