Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience serving as a senior technical or ecosystem leader in a cloud computing environment or partner-facing role.
- Experience in people management.
- Experience leading organizations and with executive relationships and growing partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Ability to inspire and lead teams to their full potential in a channel sales environment.
- Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to take initiative with effective analytical, attention-to-detail, organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud technology space. (e.g. Containers, Kubernetes, VMs, etc.).

As the Director of Partner Engineering, you will lead an EMEA wide organization who engage with and enable Google Cloud partners. You will collaborate with the Cloud Partner and Sales leadership to grow and develop the technical capacity of the Google Cloud partner ecosystem and ensure business growth and customer delivery through the channel. You will be key to defining the strategy that involves recruitment, launch, and growth of partners, enabling their technical teams and assisting them and joint customers in their technical journey with Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
- Work with Google Cloud Partner leadership to identify, qualify, and prioritize joint market opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of Google Cloud Practice within Global System integrators and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
- Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight Google Cloud Platform value proposition using various communication techniques.
- Represent Europe, Middle East, and Asia at a global Channel table and set the goals for the future of the organization.
- Hire, coach, and drive a performance team to enable partners to work towards goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience.
