Job description
The Director of Operations is responsible for leading the Regional Operations Managers and their direct report to delivers exceptional support to our new and existing Operators in all facets of the Krispy Krunchy Chicken business model.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and accountability to the Regional Operations Manager and their teams through clear expectations, coordinating efforts, and follow-up.
- Plays a key role in executing initiatives through the implementation of plans and oversight of milestones and metrics.
- Builds strong relationships with Operators maintaining frequent and ongoing communication, tracking, and follow-up, and reduce operator churn.
- Leads implementation of strategic initiatives while monitoring and gauging results to determine appropriate changes.
- Develops and executes a strategy to grow long-term business and achieve assigned revenue and profitability goals.
- Supports operational processes in order to effectively execute based on customer need
- Enabling Operations, support, and service teams to deliver world-class, differentiated Operator service and support through effective service operations planning, new process design, and existing process optimization.
- Conducting reviews and audits of existing standard operating procedures and lead optimization events to improve and evolve service and support workflows.
- Analyzing performance, both of individuals (Internal) and the Operators (External) as a whole.
- People Management- platform Hiring and developing a team of world-class program managers. 7 Direct Reports
- Accountable for ensuring operations leadership adheres to company standards, systems, policies and procedures. Ensures Regional Operations Managers comply with company policies and procedures on employee safety, food safety, brand standards, Travel Policies, staffing levels, Federal, State and local employment laws and regulations. Coaches and trains leadership on standards and redirects as necessary.
- Accountable for leading Regional Operation Manager restaurant in driving same store sales that impact company EBITDA goals in alignment with the company strategic plan. Partners with operations leadership to define territory budget and Operations goals.
- Train management/direct reports on proper product preparation, guest service techniques, and daily equipment maintenance procedures, brand and operational standards
- Partnering with Sales and Launch teams to drive roadmap and feature prioritization that reflects the highest priority of internal/external needs.
- Providing structure, consistency, and operational excellence by leading long-term, structured programs through LMS
- Developing new program management methodologies that accelerates opening schedules and maximize Operator Profitability.
- Business Management-Support the ROM/OSS in supporting operators with food and labor costs to increase location profitability.
- Project Support- Understand the purpose, intent, rationale, mechanics, requirements and desired results of all company driven programs and initiatives.

Requirements:Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or other related field
- Expert level proficiency in Excel,
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Operations force or similar platforms
Preferred
- Ten+ years of experience in Operations for a multiunit quick service restaurant or convenience store chain preferred.

Location Requirement: Candidate will work full time out of his/her home and up to 50% travel.
