Based at the BPS Central office with travel to the Trusts Academies
The Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust is a rapidly growing Multi-Academy Trust which consists of 15 academies. The Trust are looking to recruit a Director of SEND to start in September 2023 or as soon after as possible.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of SEND will play a critical role in supporting the progress of all pupils, including those who are disadvantaged and those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, through effective high quality Trust wide SEND strategy.
The successful candidate will work closely with the education directors in ensuring the quality of education across all our academies is at least good and shape.
The Successful candidate will become the expert of SEND for the trust and provide high quality support and challenge to SENDCos within the individual academies.
The Director of SEND will develop and provide a strategic oversight of SEND across all the Blessed Peter Snow Academies and drive the Trust’s strategic objectives at a senior level.
The Director of SEND will be based at our central office in Cleckheaton but is expected to travel across all our schools within the Trust, to which travel costs will be met.
