Our products include virtual roundtables, private dinners, and bespoke experiential lead-generation events as well as global summits for our technology community. In addition, we run a market leading membership platform for C-Suite Technology executives, across the UK, Europe and USA.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-driven Marketing Director to join our rapidly growing events and custom marketing business. We operate our business around our 3-core ethos: Trust, Integrity, and Honesty

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and motivated leader, to drive a high-performing marketing department consisting of 3 direct reports.

Who you are:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field and a professional qualification
- 3+ work experience as Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, or a similar role preferably in the B2B events or conference industry
- Strong understanding of direct and digital marketing channels, and best practices
- Experience with membership models
- Technical knowledge and experience of Salesforce and Pardot, or similar systems
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Strong leadership skills and experience in driving high performing marketing teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience within the B2B SaaS industry would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall lead-generation strategy to support event and sponsorship revenue growth in line with business targets across target markets
- Create and drive our brand awareness strategy to strengthen Rela8 Group’s position in the competitive B2B events space
- Develop a clear content strategy to help support the recruitment of C-Suite executives to the Technology Leaders Club membership platform
- Oversee the execution of all activities, optimisation, and reporting, ensuring brand consistency through all marketing channels.
- Utilise internal marketing tech to increase efficiency of marketing activities across the department
- Oversee the creation and production of marketing collateral, including event and sales brochures, promotional videos, sales presentations, social media content, post-event client content (including whitepapers, e-books, interviews, fireside chats)
- Regular database audits to ensure delegate and sponsor data is accurate and being utilised effectively across the business
- Use marketing automation to ensure an effective sales funnel to support the sales team
- Set and monitor all marketing goals and KPIs
- Be the champion of all internal platforms including Salesforce, Pardot, Websites and Apps, to ensure they are working correctly and efficiently
- Continue to train, recruit, and grow the department in line with the business needs

Salary: £60,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
