Job description
About the role and our team
Manx Care is transforming the way care is delivered! As an integrated provider of health and social care on the Isle of Man, we are improving our quality and efficiency to deliver outstanding care to our Island’s residents and are seeking an exceptional Director of Education to join us on this exciting pathway to lead The School of Nursing!
Our Director of Education will be a motivated and inspirational innovator, a skilled marketer and communicator, and a talented leader who strives for excellence and student success.
This role is vital to our vision for excellence in Island healthcare and represents an unrivalled opportunity to have a real impact on shaping the standards of education and the future clinical workforce.

You must have a strong vision, an improvement mind set and the capacity to innovate and enable the whole team to thrive and reach their full potential as we expand our education service on the Isle of Man.

What can this role offer me?

- We can offer you excitement, development and a chance to be your very best. Here, you can take advantage of the excellent opportunities we provide for your professional development, including the many courses we fund, including those up to Masters Level.
- We offer competitive salaries which tend to be higher than UK salaries with opportunities for annual pay increases for many roles.
- You will enjoy generous annual leave entitlement of 27 days and 10 public holidays.
- For candidates not on the Isle of Man we will offer you a relocation package of up to £7,000 to get you, your things and your family to the island. You will also be eligible for housing assistance to help contribute towards your mortgage or rent on the island.
- For those relocating or returning to the island you will receive a refund on your national insurance contributions made in your first year, this could be up to £4,000!
- Great on site facilities and free car parking at Noble’s Hospital.
