And today, we are looking for a Marketing and Communications Director who will lead the development and implementation of an extensive and data-driven 360° marketing communication strategy. THE JOB
Support and adapt our marketing strategy to the local context:
Define and collect the needs and co-develop customer insights leveraging mutualized resources from our global principal
Define (and mutualize with country marketing cluster) the market-specific customer segmentation
Work with the Commercial Director and Country Director to co-build the commercial policy
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) to measure the impact of our marketing activities, and return of our investments
In collaboration with our Commercial Director, prepare the 360° marketing planning, campaigns prioritization and budget allocation, and marketing mix in line with the trends within sports, brands, channel and customer behaviours
Captain the management and evolution of the marketing and communication project together with your team
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication strategies that align with our brand objectives, leveraging all customer touchpoints:
Ensure brand coherence by executing brand guidelines all across our platforms and client touchpoints
Define local communication guidelines in line with our International Teams
Ensure implementation and execution of internal and external/ PR communications
Strategize and implement communication campaigns targeted toward Decathlon's local needs:
Oversee the design and execution of marketing campaigns and events (physical, digital)
Animate local events and train local Omni-Channel Sports Sales Leaders
Monitor and animate local marketing effectiveness against target ROI KPIs
Manage the development and implementation of brand strategies in the digital area across the entire customer journey in cooperation with your teams.
Manage the relationships with agencies locally and supports negotiation and purchasing of media space and animate local marketing expert communities
Lead and manage a team of marketing communication professionals, providing guidance, and performance feedback to drive excellence and achieve targets:
Lead marketing talent acquisition and development locally
Develop your team through regular individual reviews, guidance, and by co-building a clear professional development plan
Coordinate and manage your teammates to ensure their further development and support them in achieving their goals.

Have a strong passion for sports and influencing other people to discover their passion for it
Proven experience (>5 years) in Marketing and Communications within Support Services, B2B, or Tech
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team toward achieving common goals
Are data-driven: with a strong sense of analysis and understanding of the marketing funnel, performance marketing KPIs, and profitability levers
Have exceptional presentation skills with the ability to clearly convey ideas across
Are a strong and influential communicator with a positive and go-to attitude
Have strong organizational and prioritization skills
Are hungry, passionate, and curious: constantly put new ideas and opportunities to the pitch
Have the Ability to build positive relationships, collaborate, and functionally lead teams across the network
Have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
