Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the business to define organization and people strategies that effectively support the business strategy and deliver results.
- Provides consultation on organization design, team effectiveness strategies and change management initiatives. Provides expert guidance on utilization of expert change management strategies to ensure adoption.
- Contribute to and support global and regional HR initiatives designed to evolve an enhance the organizational culture and employee engagement. This includes leading HR processes and initiatives/special projects or day-to-day activities to achieve desired outcomes
- Analyze and solve business challenges that impact organizational effectiveness, productivity, business cost, and profitability.
- Leads people leaders through core business processes such as talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and compensation (merit and equity cycles).
- Provide expert consultation on employment matters related to local and country guidance, serving as the key process and legal framework resource to ensure local compliance in matters related to internal policy and external requirements.
- Partner closely with site and regional HR leaders across the PHC Group in the coordination of initiatives across a wide matrix of functions and geographies. Partner closely with Epredia regional HR resources as the key link between the regional business unit and the global HR community.
- Serve as the catalyst in identifying people initiatives that promote a high-performance culture through leader and talent development.
- Confer with and advise business managers on disciplinary process and risk assessment on employee relations and performance related issues.
- Ability to think and lead strategically, understand and drive toward the big picture while remaining detail-oriented and hands-on in daily HR operational matters.
- Demonstrated success in redesign and automation of people processes to remove waste and inefficiency.
- Significant strength in detail orientation and awareness of key business metrics and value drivers that deliver strong operational HR support on the fundamentals.
- Proven success in leading and facilitating significant initiatives (for example, organizational redesign, restructuring, etc.) incorporating inspirational leadership to create a compelling vision for the initiative outcome.
- Demonstrated ability to champion breakthrough ideas (services/solutions) into the strategic agenda for Human Resources. Proven ability to develop long-term roadmap for his/her client groups in alignment with broader organizational strategy. Ability to make tough decisions and be a proponent of these decisions.
- Demonstrated success in effectively and practically communicating complex ideas and business concepts to business leaders and employees
- Minimum of 15 years of HR Business Partnering and other relevant HR experience (employee relations and talent management).
- Proven track record of leadership with demonstrated ability to develop talent.
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with multiple levels and disciplines.
- Expertise in employment and workplace safety laws and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience and passion for strong collaboration with others (HR COEs, cross-functional partners, HRBP peers, etc.) to build world class teams
- Demonstrated excellence in proactive communication and comfort navigating within ambiguous situations, with high levels of autonomy
- Demonstrated comfort in spontaneous or impromptu presentation skills, presenting thoughts in highly organized and detail oriented fashion.
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources/Business
- 15+ years’ experience working with organizations that have significant manufacturing environments combined with senior professional staff levels.
- PROSCI certified practitioner a plus.
