Cobb Europe is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our Human Resources department as the Director of Human Resources. As the Director, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our HR strategies to support our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective HR operations
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent
- Develop and implement performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity
- Manage employee relations, including handling employee grievances and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and implementing necessary updates
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement training and development programs
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive HR initiatives
The Company operates a hybrid working policy, Wednesday and Thursdays are based in the office in Colchester to ensure the team is together at the same time.
Occasional travel to our facilities in the UK, Netherlands and Turkey may be required along with some travel to the US.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Director or Senior Management role
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive HR initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- HR qualification or qualified by experience
- 10 years + in an HR Role
