Director, People & Culture

THE POSITION:
STACK is looking for an experienced Director, People & Culture to oversee and streamline Human Resources functions and lead a small People & Culture team. The ideal candidate will develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, streamline and automate processes, and develop and manage people-facing programs. In addition to HR functionalities, this role will manage administrative personnel, including those responsible for office management. This role requires strong communication and collaboration, attention to detail and process in a fast-growing environment, and experience keeping up with regulations within a multi-state company. This role will report to the Vice President, People & Culture.
- Implement policies and practices to advance compensation reviews, annual benefits, and employee health and safety.
- Evaluate and improve processes surrounding performance evaluations, onboarding and offboarding, and career development.
- Develop and manage programming, including mentorship, internships, and DEI efforts.
- Develop and mentor People & Culture team members, providing guidance and oversight, including implementation of processes to ensure dual verification on billing and employee changes.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee issues, disciplinary action, and terminations.
- Continuously strive toward creating a world-class employee culture.
THE DETAILS:
- Location: Denver, CO
- Travel: Less than 10%
- Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000/year + bonus
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must pass comprehensive background screening
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Experience working within HRM Systems and integrating external tools
- Multi-state experience required; multi-national experience is a bonus
