Job description
As a values-based, performance-oriented leader, the Director of Program Delivery leads a high performing team administering and delivering a suite of Ministry of Agriculture programs through the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership agreement. This position is critical to ensure positive outcomes for a broad range of Saskatchewan agricultural producers, organizations and agri-businesses.
The Director will be client-focused with demonstrated program delivery and risk management expertise applied in an environment of accountability and fiscal prudency.
The Director will champion change, communication, collaboration and innovation to drive improvements and outcomes that meet the needs of the dynamic and evolving agriculture sector.
The Director must thrive in a collaborative, fast paced environment and utilize innovative thinking to solve emerging and complex problems to benefit clients and industry stakeholders.
The Director will provide clear direction and manage performance through the development of effective unit and personal work and learning plans aligned to Ministry goals and objectives.
The Director must be an experienced leader with a focus on accountability and building strong teams through engagement and relationship building.
Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position would be obtained through a degree in public policy, business administration or agriculture, combined with relevant program delivery and management experience. A masters’ degree in public policy or related field would be considered an asset.
