Construction Director – Highly Competitive Salary Bromley, Kent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Construction Director to join us and lead the way in completing the design and build of new care home sites to increase the size of our current portfolio of 31 Care and Nursing Homes.

As the driving force behind the successful execution of projects, you’ll have full accountability for ensuring that every aspect of the construction process is executed with precision and excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the COO and Chairman to take the helm in overseeing the timely execution and completion of both the pre-construction and construction phases of a number of projects.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant and customer focused property solutions.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for better efficiencies throughout the project cycle.
- To recruit, retain and manage a construction team, working closely with the COO and Chairman.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and are on budget.
- Manage health, safety, environmental and quality ensuring legal compliance and adherence to company standards.
About you:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience with a proven track record of managing mid to large-scale developments from conception to completion.
- Possess a strong background in the building sector - Care home construction experience essential.
- Educated to degree level in a construction-related discipline – Civil or Construction Engineering (RICS/CIOB desirable).
- Utilise your commercial judgment and experience to balance risk, resolve conflicts, and find solutions that support long-term business benefits.
- In-depth knowledge of CDM and construction health and safety requirements
- Experience and knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Act, Town& Country Planning, Health & Safety and Disability Discrimination Act requirements.
