Job Overview:

As a Regional Brand Director for MGA Entertainment in the EMEA region, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of our brands across multiple markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive regional brand strategies, and managing marketing campaigns that align with MGA’s global brand strategy. Your goal will be to maximize brand awareness, drive sales, and ensure consistent brand positioning throughout the region based upon the global brand strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy and Planning:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of regional brand strategies that align with the company's global objectives and brand identities.
  • Identify consumer trends, the competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
    • Communicate regional consumer trends to the global brand team to enhance brand opportunities.
  • Participate in the development of marketing initiatives, with global brand leadership, to effectively reach and engage with defined target audience segments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure alignment of regional brand strategies with product development, sales, and retail strategies.
  • Ensure strong communication by working closely with EU Pricing to deliver and maintain flash updates and pricing for the region.
  • Work with EU QA as needed to ensure product compliance ahead of sell in.


Marketing Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that deliver on the global brand strategies to drive regional brand awareness, product launches, promotional activities and consumer demand.
  • Oversee marketing budgets effectively and allocate resources to achieve optimal results.
  • Utilize various marketing channels, including digital, social media, PR, events, and partnerships, to maximize brand exposure.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports and insights to the Global Brand Lead and the management team.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Global Brand Management, media and creative agencies.
  • Collaborate with the global brand teams to ensure regional brand marketing aligns with overall global brand strategy.


Brand Positioning and Communication:

  • Collaborate on the global brand positioning and messaging consistently across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Participate in the creation of compelling and innovative marketing assets, including packaging, advertising materials, and digital content that targets regional audiences while respecting the global brand strategy.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all regional marketing activities and maintain global brand guidelines.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Inspire a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, encouraging creativity and innovation.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Brand Manager or similar role in the toy, consumer goods, or fashion industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple EMEA markets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
