Position
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
General marketing support to the Marketing team, responsible for the day-to-day implementation of Dior Beauty activities within given guidelines and budget.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysis
- Responsible for monthly sell out reports (NPD) as well as New Product Performance Analysis Reporting for the Central
- In charge of getting qualitative field feedback on new launches
- Responsible for gathering, filing, and reporting on competitive information (new launches & Xmas)
- Expected to go on a minimum of 1 store visit per week in London
Budget & forecast management
- Raise PO’s and track rigorously budget for activities on a weekly basis
- Monitoring the Makeup Marketing budget / expenditure, negotiating quotes with local suppliers and reconciliation of internal systems.
- Ensure the media budget is rigorously kept up to date
Marketing Support
- Develop and produce diverse marketing material, in line with the product managers’ guidelines, timing and budget (POSM / Launch Material / Ad hoc mail out / Newsletters)
- Download Dior Info and update team every week
- Covent Garden Boutique, Dior Prestige La Suite, Le salon
- Create marketing presentations for internal and external actors
Events, Launch and animation implementation
- Coordinate event & trade activities in store & online in line with product managers’ guidelines, timings and budgets
- Allocation of samples, testers and POS Material for new launches and events.
- Preparation of the monthly newsletter, sales presenter (launch information across Beauty)
- Responsible for the implementing of the GWP plan as well as any other trade activities.
- Follow up on various requests from the trade / field team
- Contribute to the generation of creative ideas within the department
Profile
Profile:
- Degree in Marketing / Business Studies or similar
- Experience in Marketing in luxury goods in retail industry and / or FMCG
- Passion for luxury cosmetic brands
Key Competencies:
- Degree in Marketing / Business Studies or similar
- Some prior experience in Marketing/PR, ideally in luxury goods
- Retail experience is a plus
- Inherent interest in beauty industry
