Job description
The ideal candidate will be inquisitive and research oriented, have good written and verbal communication skills, ability to deliver presentations to internal and external audiences, a keen interest in aviation, good sense of time management and organisation skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, attention to detail and the ability to process large scopes of work. Proven ability (or willingness) to form and defend an opinion is a plus. Strong work ethic, fluency in English with other languages advantageous.
This is a paid internship and the opportunity to learn about the application of data across the Aviation industry, with the potential to form project ideas for your final year or postgraduate projects.
All tasks will be carried out with an experienced Product Manager, providing supervision, training, and guidance.
Primary Responsibilities
Support the Cirium Diio Product Management team with research & development and discovery initiatives, including creation and prioritization of ideas, working ideas through the established process, and market validation.
- Work with internal stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product idea backlog to support R&D+D
- Define product requirements through a deep understanding of the customer need, utilizing methodologies to test and validate new product features
- Participate in Diio Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and Voice of Customer (VOC) sessions
- Offer your own views and ideas on how to improve existing or add new process for the Diio discovery workflow
Support other internal projects with the Diio Product Management team
Education Level
Currently studying at University or recent graduate, with Aviation, Business, Engineering, Computer/Data Science equivalent studies/qualifications
Duration of internship: Flexible but ideally three months necessary to be benefit to both the Intern and Cirium.
Starting date of internship: Flexible, but from June onwards (earliest), with full flexibility on duration.
