We’re seeking a Digital Video and Motion Designer to join the Zertus team, who can create engaging and ‘thumb-stopping’ content for our brands social platforms. Our brands include: NOMO, Fruit Factory, Sun Valley Nut Company, Kinnerton Kids, Lir Chocolates, Baileys and Guinness.
This role is homebased, within the London area, working Monday- Friday 09:00 – 17:30 per day (37.5 hours per week).
Responsibilities:
Our Locations: Hull, Heckington, Sherburn-in-Elmet, Fakenham, Bromborough, Navan (Ireland). We have a Hub Space in Camden, London for Hybrid/ Home Workers too.

We’re seeking a Digital Video and Motion Designer to join the Zertus team, who can create engaging and ‘thumb-stopping’ content for our brands social platforms. Our brands include: NOMO, Fruit Factory, Sun Valley Nut Company, Kinnerton Kids, Lir Chocolates, Baileys and Guinness.

Key responsibilities of a Digital Video and Motion Designer:
- Produce creative and designed assets for a multitude of platforms, such as organic and paid social.
- Review typography, layouts ensuring good attention to detail.
- Create engaging and ‘thumb-stopping’ social media content from marketing briefs.
- Develop creative concepts and communicate these to the wider marketing team.
- Oversee concepts through to final design, aligned with brand guidelines and as outlined in brief.
- Translate strategic creative direction into high-quality video and stop motion designs.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, technology and digital marketing best practices.
- Create creative across videos, social posts/campaigns, emails, website assets and presentations.
- Be able to support on non-digital design projects within the design team.
Skills you’ll need to succeed in our Digital Video and Motion role:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field (A degree is desirable but candidates with relevant experience will also be considered)
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques, channels and best practices
- Experience in video creation/editing, using after-effects and stop motion skills is essential
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, llustrator. InDesign, After Effects & Final Cut Pro.
- Ability to adopt brand aesthetic and guidelines with ease while always seeking out new ways of doing things
- Execution success on Tiktok
- Experience in digital video motion with the ability to demonstrate building and growing an engaging audience for social media platforms, including (but not limited to) Youtube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest
- Engaging videography/photography and styling skills
- Knowledge of the social media landscape and be regularly consuming social content to remain up-to-date with trends and applying this in the form of referencing
- Strong time management and communication skills - able to work to tight deadlines and multitask on a daily basis
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software
- Experience with web design
- Good time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a brands success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Design for print knowledge an advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided to help expand your skills in the area.
