Reporting into the Director Digital Transformation and Innovation you will act as Digital Transformation Lead to the organisation and drive development of ambitious strategic roadmaps, lead on up front business and technical design blueprints, and protect the delivery of our transformation goals.

About the role
You’ll lead development and communication of initial design blueprints via Transformation and Strategic Design Authority to accelerate mobilisation and increase the chance of programme success via clear up-front design.
Embed as a digital leader across HR, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Data, and Technology business functions, you’ll develop, design, and communicate strategic roadmaps covering impact across business outcomes, benefits, technical capability step-change, and champion the execution of these plans.
You’ll matrix manage design leads across various business function including Commercial and Technology, with influence over other areas to achieve the best outcomes for Royal Mail.
You’ll influence the reasoning and impact of your decisions to technical and business stakeholders, using the right approach for your audience. You’ll be the key player to positively challenge and influence Executive Board and their Directors to optimise and deliver our transformation.

Experience
- Experience of leading design on large scale digital transformation
- Experience of operating architectural assurance and governance processes
- Experience in project delivery including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level
