Temporary (2 years) contract | £32,909 to £34,723 per annum (Scale I) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich
Do you have a passion for developing people? Are you excited by new innovative technologies and emerging digital solutions? Do you have expertise in the creation of innovative digital learning solutions? Can you utilise a combination of training delivery methods to drive the best engagement and outcomes?
We are looking for dedicated digital skills trainer to create, develop and deliver digital learning content in line with the Digital Inclusion Strategy, along with supporting our drive towards blended learning techniques. You will be responsible for the design, creation, and evaluation of a range of digital learning and development solutions for new starters and current employees across Norfolk County Council’s diverse services.
You will need a solid understanding of developing and writing digital learning solutions along with a good understanding of the digital content accessibility regulations and applying them in practice.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Consultant (Digital), as part of the Norfolk Development Academy team, the ideal digital content innovator will have a can-do approach, is a self-starter, able to manage their own workload and work flexibly within the learning & development teams.
You will:
- Be innovative when developing and creating digital learning solutions.
- Be passionate about promoting digital solutions across the organisation.
- Deliver engaging and insightful training sessions both in person and online.
- Have initiative and clear ownership for your deliverables so you require minimal supervision.
- Have demonstrable first-class knowledge and experience of online digital learning methods and how they can effectively be applied at scale across multiple locations.
- Be proactive, and actively able to anticipate existing and future needs of the business.
- Be a strong and visible communicator that can build a reputation as a trusted adviser to HR and the business.
- Be curious and analytical when it comes to assessing how we continuously improve our learning services.
- Be collaborative and willing at the same time to challenge the status quo
