We have two exciting opportunities to join the Frimley Health Digital Services Team as Assistant Project Managers to support our Electronic Patient Record optimisation and Digital Infrastructure programmes.
Having delivered on our '19- '22 Digital Strategy the Trust is forming its programmes for the next 3 and 5 year cycles with a range of projects coming on stream.
As an Assistant Project Manager you will be supporting our Project Managers by helping with project administration and governance and running project workstreams.

Please note that while we are able to offer some working from home there will be requirement to travel between Trust sites in Frimley, Wexham, Heatherwood and the surrounding areas as project demands require.
- Lead on the management of small DS projects
- Work on larger DS Projects as part of the DS programme team
- Undertake administration duties on DS projects as directed by the programme manager which would include and not be limited to project documentation updates, taking action notes and minutes, producing presentations etc.
- Assist Project managers in setting up and facilitating project governance arrangements which for a standard project would include a steering group chaired by an SRO and a working group chaired by the post holder.
- Use the Trust DS standard project management approach
- Ensure all projects are well documented
- Provide information to support projects and ensure are delivered to time, budget and requirements are met and planned benefits are delivered.
- Assist in the preparation of Core project documentation including Project Briefs, PIDs and Business Cases Maintaining risk and issue logs for own projects and assist project managers in updating these for larger projects
The role will be based at Heatherwood Hospital but, according to the projects the post holder is involved with they are expected to at any Frimley Health Foundation Site. This might involve an extended period of time at the other site to implement, or support the implementation of, a particular project in which they have key skills.
- Under the direction of the Programme manager, the Senior Project Manager and the project manager that they report to for the particular project they are working on (for the site they are based on) the post holder will contribute to a portfolio of DS projects which are likely to include small projects which they are solely responsible for and larger projects which they are a team member.
- Working with other members of the programme team, planning, supporting, facilitating and monitoring the performance and progress of these projects.
- They will be required to work closely with key stakeholders involved in the project who are likely to be from a wide range of roles across the Trust.
- They must ensure timely delivery of any project they are working on and understand the contribution they are making towards the overall DS programme and the Trusts transformation programme.
