Job description
Digital Production Trainee, Digital Marketing, Copywriter, Creative eLearning Production Assistant, Marketing Assistant, Basildon, Essex
Digital Production Traineeto work for an exciting business based in Basildon, Essex. However, there will be a fantastic remote working facility and you will only have to go to the office circa 1-2 days per week.
It will be your role to help to support and update a range of the company’s digital content, including commissioning new and updated content for their websites and online platforms, increasingly supporting the development and delivery of e-learning products, and assisting with overall editorial and production processes. We want someone who is creative enough to help eLearning Production evolve and help take it to the next level. Here, any Copywriting or SUPER English skills you have would come in really handy.
There are ‘some’ elements of Marketing involved with this role but we do not want to mislead and create the perception you will be storyboarding on the likes of TikTok – it is not that kind of role, although you will be involved in some other (potentially less fancy – depends on what floats your boat!) social media platforms. We need someone who is prepared to do the funky creative stuff, along with the mundane admin stuff…but someone who would enjoy both sides of the coin. Anyone looking for a full on Marketing role, this is not it.
You will be basically receiving pieces of information that involves technical jargon and putting these into Layman’s Terms. The role will also involve some project work as the company is looking to continuously evolve. Read on for more details…
Skills & Knowledge Essential:
- Proactive, personable and a team player
- Excellent English and / or copywriting skills
- Nice to have an understanding of e-learning authoring tools (ideally Articulate Storyline and H5P) – we stress, this is a nice to have – you would be learning this anyway if you don’t have it in your skills locker
- Preferred experience of online publishing, or recent relevant and specific experience using a CMS and/or LMS
- Be able to demonstrate competency in commissioning and editing a range of content, with the ability to apply style guides for different audiences and content functions
- Good attention to detail, including an ability to proofread and check details thoroughly, and be able to apply them to online and offline content
- Be able to carry out research to support the checking of content, questioning the contributors' work where necessary
- Be familiar with the MS Office suite
- Good communication skills, energy and enthusiasm
This is a great opportunity and salary is dependent upon experience. Apply now for more details.
