Job description
This is an exciting time to join the University of Manchester, drive our flexible learning and transnational education agenda and make a difference!
Technology continues to revolutionise the way we not only learn, but how we communicate, interact and absorb information.
We’re looking for an exceptional digital marketing professional to join our performance driven, friendly and collaborative team. We want you to take the leading role in driving digital capabilities and campaigns, with high motivation, tenacity and creative license. You will be highly skilled with hands-on experience managing paid search, social and display campaigns.
This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven creative thinker, looking to further develop their career in a complex global organisation by creating, managing and optimising impactful and high performing marketing campaigns, conducting audience research and insights and leading on our Centre of Excellence in digital advertising across the University.
Working with a team of marketing and communications professionals and reporting to the Marketing and Recruitment Manager, you’ll be a strong team player who is confident in leading and managing a range of digital marketing campaigns – you will be self-motivated and ready to make an immediate impact.
The role will involve the day-to-day management of various marketing campaigns, including managing and coordinating projects through our external agency. You’ll work to generate interest and build a high-quality enquiry pipeline to help meet recruitment targets. Excellent analytical skills and a technical mind-set with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential.
You will regularly share campaign reports and insights to help inform market opportunities, campaign optimisations and results. You’ll work closely with the Marketing and Recruitment Officers, and Course Advisors to share insights and understand lead quality to enhance campaign performance.
In addition, and as part of a team, you will take a leading role to build and develop a content-led digital marketing strategy with a focus on advertising, paid search, social and SEO – experience working on integrated campaigns and a good understanding of the various marketing channels and functions is a must! Whether TikTok or LinkedIn, Facebook or YouTube – we’re looking for an expert well-rounded marketer with knowledge across the digital spectrum.
