ROLE PURPOSE

As Digital Marketing Officer you will be responsible for raising the company’s online presence by creating and managing content across a variety of digital platforms, including social media channels and websites. You will work with the wider team to support in the development and delivery of the marketing strategy and plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement the overall digital marketing strategy and plan
Social media accounts management and website management
Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
Assist on multi-channel campaigns to develop the brief and value proposition
Create and deliver integrated campaigns that support revenue objectives and enhance the reputation of the SPAR brand in Scotland
Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide accurate reports and analysis to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI)
Monitor the competition and provide suggestions for improvements
Stay up to date with the latest technology
Monitor social media trends
Implement digital vouchering, QR codes and gamification into campaigns as required
Support the introduction of a SPAR customer loyalty scheme
Produce content for internal and external presentations as required
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation eg. GDPR
Maintaining digital platforms/company databases
Supporting marketing campaigns with digital activity
Work cross functionally across the business
