Background
Your eCommerce Accountant are expert ICAEW ecommerce accountants, specialising in ecommerce businesses who sell on Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Etsy and much more.
Within Your Ecommerce Accountant we have built software called eComledger which will be going to market in Q4 2023. This is aimed at providing ecommerce solutions for accounting firms.
We are a fast growing, UK based, remote, national accountancy firm looking to increase our reach further online with digital marketing campaigns.
Job Description
This role is our first hire in marketing, this has been previously outsourced to an agency or performed by the managing director. This role has a wide remit and would cover all aspects of digital marketing from social media to referral schemes.
There will be three main areas for this role
1. Enhancing Your Ecommerce Accountant's marketing
2. Launching a software tool focused on accountants
3. Launching a sister website for Your Ecommerce Accountant
Our entire team are remote working in the UK. This means that you will need to have the ability to work autonomously but also communicate clearly with the managing director and other team members.
There will be areas you are not used to or need more experience of and the right candidate will have the ability to identify these areas and seek learning materials to bridge that gap.
This role will give you the freedom to flesh out your ideas and shape the digital marketing strategy of a fast growing accountancy and software firm. You will have a large amount of control over the strategy, software and direction the marketing takes.
The ideal candidate will have the drive to want to make a real impact and therefore have a clear route to becoming marketing manager and be part of the management team.

- Experience of Video (tiktok, youtube and website)
- Email Marketing Content and Chains (mailchimp or equivalent)
- Understand wordpress CMS
- Understand Google Analytics

- Link-building outreach
- Seeking and implement a referral scheme with influencers and related businesses.
- Role with clear pathway progression senior management team for the right candidate
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
