The role
At VWFS UK we are on an exciting journey and we are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Digital and Direct team.
Our Digital business area is evolving and the Digital Marketing Manager is at the heart of it by developing and managing our company websites.
Reporting to the General Manager – Digital you will be responsible for the optimisation of content to improve online performance of our websites, whilst coordinating with various teams to ensure content remains up-to-date and secure.
You will ensure tracking tags are in place to enable web analytics data is available to drive clear performance metrics and make recommendations for onsite improvements.
To be successful, you will have proven experience of website content management systems and can analyse performance to help meet business objectives.
What you will be responsible for…
- Develops and executes a comprehensive Search Engine Optimisation strategy to improve organic search rankings and increases traffic to VWFS consumer facing websites.
- Supports the delivery and implementation of the Digital Strategy required across specific areas of the business, such as managing site migrations, adding additional website pages for new product launches, conducting website audits and updating, reviewing, and improving customer journeys.
- Maintains VWFS consumer facing websites within the digital Ecosystem and the day-to-day updates required in Adobe Experience Manager, Content Management System from the marketing function, product teams and wider business.
- Assists with creating training initiatives by utilising digital tactics, while identifying education gaps, and developing 101 training across the Digital & Direct commercial teams
- Supports the development, delivery and visibility of new products and services online through to optimising content once in market, using SEO strategies, analysing data, and staying current with search engine algorithms.
- Supports multiple areas of the business informing, advising and influencing the user experience to ensure that the new products and digital platforms developed have robust web analytics tagging and tracking, to understand user behaviours online.
- Collaborates effectively with wider marketing function to share insights and learnings from existing web analytics data
- Works with colleagues in Digital teams to ensure that centrally created solutions meet the needs of the UK market.
Who are we looking for?
- Previous digital marketing, website management, analytics and search engine optimisation experience
- Proven experience in Content Management systems - desirable Adobe Experience Manager
- Experience of optimising website content including landing pages, product descriptions, blog posts, and metadata, to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder relationship skills all levels include broad level
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
- Proven technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Enthusiasm, drive, commitment and confidence to achieve goals of team and self with minimal supervision.
- Communication skills – verbal and written; must be able to confidently present and communicate effectively at all levels
- Excellent team player, able to interact cross-functionally at different levels within the organisation
