We have an exciting opportunity to join our warm and welcoming team as a Digital Marketing Manager.
Our Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and improving Towergate Health & Protection’s online presence and helping the company to improve its digital lead generation. The role involves the management and co-ordination of all digital activity.
You will be expected to use your knowledge and experience to drive performance online and to support the targets and objectives of the business. Key Role Accountabilities:
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
- Manage the group’s online presence with responsibility for our customer facing websites, internal support site (Assist) and Towergate Health & Protection’s client benefit portal (ViaNabo) and health and wellbeing platform (Kinetic+)
- Work closely with external third-party developers to deliver improvements and developments to our sites, with a focus on improving design, usability and conversion
- Owner of the Towergate Health & Protection website’s content management system, working to ensure that any updates required are made speedily and accurately
- Manage and implement all organic and paid search strategies, working with third parties where required
- Produce regular reports on the performance of the websites, as well as any SEO or PPC campaign activity
- Liaise with internal business security to ensure that all online developments are compliant with Group security standards
Responsibility for the Kinetic+ health and wellbeing platform, including but not limited to:
- Day to day relationship with Avantus
- Ongoing improvements, updates and testing
- All testing
- Ensure all new starters are given access to Assist, and any leavers have their accounts closed
- Manage the building and sending of all digital communications to customers and prospects
- Project manage any digital developments as required, including management of the tender process and taking the lead on all ongoing communication with third party developers
- Creation of video content that can be used in digital marketing campaigns and on our social media channels
- Support the company’s client webinars
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring clear communication of objectives and deliverables in line with the company’s strategic direction
- Develop an understanding of the products we sell and attend relevant training to ensure market knowledge levels are kept up to date
- The marketing team is small, with fast moving workloads, so general support for the wider team may be required to help manage busy periods
What we are looking for in a Digital Marketing Manager:
- 5+ years of digital/e-business experience
- Passion for digital marketing with up-to-date knowledge of the digital landscape
- Knowledge of best practice: SEO, PPC, e-marketing, social media, web analytics, web security, web development and CMS
- Experience with Umbraco and Perch is preferential but not essential
- Experience in management of website launches and improvements
- Knowledge and understanding of the PEN testing process
- Web development in HTML, CSS would be beneficial but not essential
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Microsoft Office, Camtasia and Adobe design suite
- People management experience, comfortable providing clear direction, feedback and support across different functions/job roles
Person Specification:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Professional client focussed approach
- Successful management of internal and external relationships
- Experience within financial services and regulated environment beneficial but not essential
