Portsmouth HQ - Hybrid Working Role
toob is currently looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to own the overall strategy, and systems implementation, of the business marketing engine through Hubspot. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the deployment of HubSpot campaigns.
In this role, you will define, communicate, implement, and optimise all functionality and tools within the marketing departments in order to improve data accuracy and quality, which will in turn bring about better insights and influence creation of better and more effective marketing campaign.

KeyAccountabilities & Decision Ownership:
- Establishing and managing marketing automation through HubSpot and integrated systems
- Developing and implementing creative end to end digital marketing and acquisition campaigns, instructing email content creation, web landing pages and social media
- Mapping and owning the customer journeys and buying cycles within HubSpot, creating campaigns and workflows that support them from contact acquisition to retention, with an initial focus on acquisition
- Ensuring that strategies between CRM and marketing platforms are aligned with the targets and objectives of the business’s marketing goals as well as the overall goals of the business
- Managing lead generation, email reporting and the database
- Analysing of data to report back on key insights
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
- Strong experience of email marketing and direct marketing
- Strong digital marketing background, with demonstrable experience in CRM management (Hubspot)
- Must have extensive knowledge of Marketing Automation tool Hubspot including its features, reporting, integration and implementation
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment
- Be able to meet strict deadlines
- Possess great communication skills, creative, resourceful and a team player
- Experience with email marketing and campaign automation
- Experience of handling data and demonstrate solid understanding GDPR and data protection
- Highly motivated and passionate about marketing
- Project management skills

What you'll be responsible for:
- Working with the Senior Marketing Manager to deliver PR campaigns, engaging directly with the media and liaising with team members to create, organise, manage and report on media coverage
- Responsible for the creation of written assets such as press releases, bespoke media pitch documents, performance reports etc, displaying a keen sense of audience and appropriate tone of voice
- Liaise with partners and sponsors to find their event requirements and identify opportunities for events
- Responsible for cultivating, maintaining, and developing relationships among partnerships
- Identify sponsorship opportunities and research partners, identify key players and generate interest
- Produce detailed proposals for events including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets research venues, suppliers and contractors then negotiate prices
- Work within the marketing team to publicise and promote events and press
- Securing national and regional media coverage for campaigns, promoting events and writing news responses, and be able to create compelling and engaging content, whilst also building strong and lasting relationships with journalists
- Liaise with the brand ambassador sales team to organise attendance and oversee the dismantling and removal of event including clearing the venue efficiently.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment
- Minimum 2 years experience in PR/media relations or events
- Experience of editorial process and management including content, planning, copywriting and proofreading
- Experience working with media and developing strong newsworthy stories positioned relative to the target audience
- Proven ability to earn media coverage via press release/ pitching/ outreach
- Strong understanding of digital marketing
- Strong management skills with the ability to manage in both directions as part of a dynamic and fast paced team
- Great organisation and planning
- Passion for PR and events with ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and sustain a high level of energy and concentration in a fast paced, results orientated environment
- Be able to meet strict deadlines
- Possess great communication skills, creative, resourceful and a team player
- You will also live within the Hampshire/Surrey area and hold the right to work in the UK.
