DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

To drive forward our acquisition and retention marketing in order to introduce as many new customers to the B&B world as possible whilst not forgetting to surprise & delight our top customers with show stopping product launches, brand values & marketing activity.
About this role
As Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and delivering our acquisition and retention marketing strategy across a multitude of channels.
You will be an expert in more traditional channels such as SEO, PPC, Referral, organic & Paid Social, as well as creative and forward thinking to constantly be testing new and innovative ways to achieve commercial and customer experience KPIs. Exploring new channels that can contribute to our acquisition goals but also bring the brand values of community & innovation to life.
You will have your finger on the pulse of the digital & D2C landscape, be obsessive about great digital marketing & be able to manage and continuously optimising traffic levers, while building relationships with internal/external partners to find new opportunities for growth.
You will be a people person, fostering great working relationships with key stakeholders, including brand marketing, CRM and Customer Experience, to inform and support their goals while managing agencies to drive B&B traffic and revenue.
Operating as a leader, you will work closely with the Head of Digital. You will be their trusted support, collaborator and facilitator while using your time with them to develop your own skills.

With a test-and-learn mindset and a love for insight-driven decision-making, you’ll be a savvy rockstar and future leader, working across the full digital marketing mix and range of channels.
Specific responsibilities
- Own day-to-day traffic channel optimisation and budget management.
- Own reporting and analysis of all relevant metrics to inform improved activity.
- Input into the evaluation of ROI from all digital activity and make recommendations for future enhancements to the approach.
- Work with digital agencies (or internal channel owners) to manage strategic plans and execution across owned channels.
- Build effective relationships with agencies/platforms & drive them strategically to ensure deadlines are met and the required quality is achieved.
- Own SEO content strategy for the business, strong experience here is a must.
- Own paid & organic social media activity including content (we do have a content team but you will need basic skills yourself, especially copywriting).
- Contributing to CRM, community management & email marketing strategy & implementation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure a consistent brand tone of voice and messaging is executed and delivered throughout the customer journey.
- Provide appropriate time and stimulus to the wider Marketing team for ideas generation and encourage cross-functional working.
- Make recommendations from your analysis to assist the Ecommerce Manager to optimise and improve the digital customer journey.
- Identify new opportunities to add value through 3rd party tools and new integrations.
- Likely to include line management of a small team, as we grow further this year. As and when that comes you will be responsible for recruiting, inducting, training & supporting your team members.
You will be able to offer the following skills and experience
- Experience of ownership, technical optimisation and campaign delivery across key digital platforms, including: Meta, Google and TikTok.
- Skills to analyse, evaluate and report on marketing and other activity to help stakeholders make informed decisions. A love of Google Analytics is a definite plus.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and experience in producing marketing copy as well as SEO rich content.
- Experience of owning email marketing strategy and the CRM tools to support it.
- Able to see the big picture (total business view) and future impact when supporting Leaders to prioritise tasks and make better decisions.
- Experience working with a mix of function owners and have displayed the communication and relationship management skills needed to manage large (and multiple) projects through to successful conclusions.
- Act as a point of contact between top management and stakeholders, providing insight into the most essential projects.
