Job description
To provide interim cover for digital media marketing efforts to at Kingham Hill.
Take photographs and video content for use with social media, key publications, website and events.
Review the school calendar and work with key staff to ensure coverage of key events.
Work with and learn the Adobe Suite of products for photographs and videography.
Manage the School social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn using Hootsuite or direct posting.
Update the school’s photo library and work to increase visibility of photographs for parents and constituents, using Flickr to share content.
Organise, record, edit and publish weekly podcasts.
Provide weekly content for the school newsletter, The Beacon.
Assist with Admissions events when needed which may include some Saturdays.
Requirements of the Nominee:
The nominee is to be entitled to employment within the UK or will be, following a successful application;
The nominee, if not already employed by the School, will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure & Barring Service prior to their permanent employment being confirmed. This is a statutory child protection requirement;
The nominee will be required, if not currently employed by the School, to provide original or certified copies of their professional qualifications and provide the details of one personal and two professional referees; Acceptable references must be received before any offer of employment is confirmed;
The nominee, if not currently employed by the School, must offer a verifiable, detailed and unbroken history of education and employment;
The nominee should be in good health and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical examination by the School doctor if requested.
Remuneration Package:
The salary will be dependent on skills, experience and qualifications;
Hours of work are 37.5 per week (5 days) with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays;
The post holder will be entitled to join the School’s Contributory Pension Scheme for non-teaching staff;
The School provides free staff lunches in term time and out of term when on duty, subject to the School catering facility being in operation;
Staff and their families are entitled to discounted use of the Leisure Centre at appropriate times;
Support staff are covered by a death-in-service scheme.
