Over the duration of the industrial placement you will be part of the Northern Europe Digital Engagement Team and play a vital role in enhancing our brand values and accelerating our digital maturity across key digital channels (Social Media and Websites).
This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and will see you work across our key organic digital channels including Social Media, Website and Digital Content. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and creation of digital first content across Social and Websites. You will also assist on planning press releases, whilst gaining experience on working with influencers. You will help analyse all Social Media and Website performance reporting key learnings and successes back to the business.

Main Responsibilities

Social Media Management
Manage and implement Colgate Palmolive’s social media presence across our key channels: Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok.
Content creation (including copywriting and creating social content).
Monitor our Social Channels to understand key consumers queries and help to proactively connect with our community in order to grow our follower base.
Review results and reporting back on progress, learning and key successes.
Website Content ManagementWork closely with Colgate Palmolive’s brand teams to manage content updates across our UK websites.
Work closely with the Search lead to create and optimise new website content.
Review results and report back to the business on progress, learning and key successes.
Required Skills & Competencies

Leadership skills, results-oriented with strong communication skills and capacity to take the lead in projects.
Good understanding of the marketing mix, up-to-date with latest trends, digital marketing and overall marketing best practices.
Eye for details and comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets.
Required Qualifications
University degree at a minimum, BS degree in marketing or a related field, particularly MBA as an asset
Experience in marketing and in FMCG companies would be preferable.
English fluency is mandated, other European languages would be a plus.
About You
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms. Experience in creating content on social media (reels and videos) is desirable
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Knowledge of analytical tools
- Creative mindset
- Ability to multitask and work in a team
- Knowledge of tools such as Canva and Photoshop is desirable
