Job description
As Digital Marketing Executive, you will effectively support all digital marketing activities of the organisation. You will play a key role in managing social media channels, creating engaging content, data analysis/pooling, supporting digital campaigns, producing creative assets, and using CRM systems in this diverse role. A data-driven mindset is vital for this exciting role as we are looking for someone who can help to optimise our digital presence as well as generate leads through marketing activities. In addition, you will be expected to use sales engagement technologies and AI tools to support you in your role.
You will lead the day-to-day growth of social media channels, manage multiple websites, email marketing activities and liase with the sales manager to create relevant content for clients and lead generation. It is essential that you are able to communicate data-based insights to the business and make recommendations for change accordingly.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Propose and implement new digital initiatives to acquire customers.
- Help create and grow the internal marketing team of the company
- Create and implement marketing email campaigns and customer journey automations on the different CRM and social media platforms
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts; social media insights and other web analysis tools; Using the insights to improve digital experience and campaign effectiveness.
- Create captivating content for both articles and social media to build online presence and increase website search ranking.
- Contribute to increasing our online presence, including review sites, affiliate websites, paid internet advertising.
- Acquire insight on online marketing trends for future digital strategies, campaigns and social media.
- Work closely with the team to enhance customers online journey and help optimise the website – including making webpage amends
- Working closely with our tech team and developers to create and automate the company ability to market and advertise on social platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Be involved in business and marketing project deliveries ensuring they are within budget.
- Working with external specialists to complete tasks
- Apply strategic digital thinking in daily tasks.
- Any additional ad hoc marketing activities.
Required:
- Past experience of delivering digital marketing communications to acquire customers; examples of (but do not need experience in all) PPC, affiliate marketing, data specialist companies, paid internet advertising, email marketing.
- Social media platform management.
- Ability to write and agree with Compliance, appropriate marketing material that engages existing and new customers.
- Competent in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to function as a team player and work independently.
- Good time management.

- Educated to a degree level with at least 2-3 years marketing experience, ideally in the financial services and technology industries.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a minimum of 3 years digital B2B marketing experience, who would consider themselves to be highly creative and bring initiative to the position to develop new ways of doing things.

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
